The company U.NI.VER (Univers des Industries du Verre) set up in 1998 is specialized in the manufacturing of glass household requisites.
The company has adjusted itself to new socio-economic requirements by investing in small lines of products of high capacity (pressed and pressed – blowed glass).
Univer plant is located at 30 km south – west of Tunis. With its advance technology industry (GAO, automation), Univer run a complete automated unit for the manufacturing of crockery: drinking glass, plates and dishes, bowls, jugs, bottles and jars. The annual manufacturing capacity is 3.000 t / year.

Univer production is distinguished by its versatility and pliability: small quantities of various products consistent to the market trend.
The manufacturing unit has its own mold machine finishing workshop. Univer shall upon orders and/or activity change convert into the manufacturing of lights, bricks of glass and curios.

Mr Miled Djebbi, the business founder, is the first Tunisian glassmaker. With his 40 long years experience in this field and having worked in BSN, he has actively participate in set up of the 1rst Tunisian glassware industry in 1963. |
The Univer production covers all the Tunisian areas. As well, the company exports its products to the neighboring countries.
The manufacturing capacity, comparatively restricted, is conditioned by the Tunisian market size.
The products of Univer are reachable to the different social classes (working, middle and high class).
Despite being cheerful, usual, restrained, Univer products are at competitive prices and offer a large decorating range. |
